Indian origin software engineer found dead in his room in Dallas

A 30-year old software engineer from Telangana’s Siddipet district was found dead in suspicious circumstances at his apartment in Arlington of Texas, in the U.S. on Friday. Chaitanya, who was working for Cognizant Technologies on a Southeast Airlines project, had traveled to USA three years ago to work on a project.

According to sources, Krishna Chaitanya was working with a multinational software company. On Thursday, when the landlord in Dallas found Chaitanya’s room locked from inside and received no response, he alerted the local police. The cops knocked down the doors and found him dead.

Venkannagari Krishna Chaitanya, a former Cognizant employee, had left for the United States three years ago for an onsite project with Southeast Airlines.

He was also reported to be staying as a paying guest in Arlington.

Chaitanya’s father, Srinivasulu, is working as an assistant manager at a bank, and Telangana’s NRI wing representatives Goli Mohan and Sridhar Madhaveni have been ensuring that the body is shifted back to India, reports add. Chaitanya was the son of Mr V. Srinivas Chary of Prasanthnagar in Siddipet district.

Central government requesting help to bring back the body.
