Bharatiya Janata Party has played a big bet by announcing former Deputy Chairman of the Gujarat Planning Commission Narhari Amin as its third candidate, the Congress may now be stuck with priority in its two candidates. After voting for one seat of Congress and two seats of BJP, the additional votes are 36 and 29.
All three candidates from BJP and two candidates from Congress have filed their nomination paers for the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls on March 26.
Both party leaders expressed their views of winning the polls with majority. All the MLA’s will vote for their respective party only.
