(G.N.S) Dt. 18 New Delhi The central government has appointed Prabhat Singh (IPS:1985:UT) as new Director General (Investigation) National Human Rights Commission (NHRC); a post which fell vacant with the retirement of Gurbachan Singh (IPS:1984:OR) on 31 December 2018. Currently, he is Special Director, CRPF.
