Mysuru district administration bans entry of devotees to Chamundi Hills till October 7

(G.N.S) Dt. 6 Mysuru According to Deputy Commissioner Bagadi Gautham, the orders were issued in a bid to avoid crowding at the temple atop the hills on Mahalaya Amavasya Wednesday. “However, all religious rituals will be performed by the priests,” he clarified. Mysuru district administration has banned entry of devotees to Chamundi Hills till Thursday (October 7). As per the order, vehicles will not be permitted to enter the hills.
