Mumbai police imposes Section 144 for 48 hours to prevent rise in new cases of Covid-19 variant

(G.N.S) Dt. 11 Mumbai Due to sudden rise in fresh cases of  new Covid-19 variant, Omicron, Mumbai Police on Friday imposed Section 144 in the city for 48 hours, banning large gatherings over the weekend. The prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) within the Mumbai Commissionerate limits also
