(G.N.S) dt. 1 New Delhi The Maharashtra government appointed Manu Kumar Srivastava (IAS:1986:MH), the senior-most officer in the state, as the Chief Secretary of the state. Srivastava takes over from Debashish Chakrabarty (IAS:1986:MH) who retired on Monday after a three-month stint. He may have a tenure of over a year before retiring in April 2023.
