The Karnataka high court on Tuesday directed the Bengaluru city police commissioner to constitute a special investigation team to probe the case of techie Ajitabh, who is missing since December 18, 2017.
Justice AS Bopanna has directed the police to submit a progress report on January 22. Ajitabh reportedly went missing when he went to meet an unknown buyer who responded to his advertisement for sale of a car put out on OLX market place. The court is hearing a petition filed by Ashok Kumar Sinha, father of Ajitabh, who had sought a CBI probe.
