IPS Rajnish Seth appointed as Maharashtra’s new DGP

(G.N.S) Dt. 19 Mumbai Rajnish Seth (IPS: 1988: MH) has been appointed as the new Maharashtra DGP. Seth has replaced Sanjay Pandey who held the additional charge of the DGP post. Seth is currently serving as DGP Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). Bombay High Court had directed the state government to appoint the new DGP by February 21. Rajnish Seth was once the head of the elite commando force of Maharashtra Police
