India signs 2 major agreements with Russia

(G.N.S) Dt. 6 New Delhi India’s Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoigu and the two sides signed two major contracts for the manufacture of nearly 6 lakh AK-203 rifles under a joint venture in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. The deal is worth over ₹ 5000 crores. The agreements come just hours before Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi
