Bollywood actress and Former Miss India World Natasha Suri met with an accident while bungee jumping in Indonesia three days ago. When media contacted the actress, she said, “I love the adrenaline rush and couldn’t resist trying out bungee jumping. Unfortunately, while at it, the cord snapped and I fell from a height of 200 feet. But thankfully, I fell in deep water and didn’t hit the ground, so I escaped with minor injuries.”
Natasha’s movie released ‘Baa Baaa Black Sheep’ in this month.
Natasha, who is now back home in Mumbai, felt the need to clarify about her well-being after an outpour of concerned enquires from all over. “I don’t want people to speculate about my health. There have been rumours that I have either died or have suffered a broken spine, but I am absolutely fine now. I was in the hospital under observation for a day to check whether I had any broken bones or internal injuries. But luckily, all the reports are clear,” she said.
About the nature of her injuries, Natasha explained, “I have a swelling on my wrist and a few black and blue marks on my upper leg. After I was pulled out of the water, I was numb with shock for an hour. However, what matters is that I survived. I believe that my mother, who passed away last year, is my guardian angel and she will see to it that no harm ever comes my way. I am back home in Mumbai now and have resumed shooting for my next film. One of my dreams in life is to be a successful actor. All these real-life incidents will help me understand and portray human experiences and emotions even better and push me to become a finer artiste.”
Not one to be bogged down by challenging experiences, Natasha summed up by saying, “Nothing in life should beat our spirit down. I believe in the motto, ‘If you fall seven times, get up eight times’.”
