In a single day/24 hours, India has recorded 78,524 fresh Covid-19 cases and 971 deaths.
Total case tally stands at 68,35,656 including 9,02,425 active cases, 58,27,705 cured/discharged/migrated cases & 1,05,526 deaths.
As per the data of Health ministry, 83,011 single-day recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours across India as against 78,524 new #COVID19 confirmed cases. 75% of new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 10 states/UTs. 79% of the new positive cases are from 10 states & UTs.
The last 3 weeks’ trend shows a steep decline in the national cumulative positivity rate, which is currently at 8.19%. 7 states/UTs have reported a positivity rate of less than 5%. 22 States/UTs have a positivity rate less than the national average.
