Blast at Firecracker factory in TN’s Virudhunagar; 11 died, 36 injured

(G.N.S) Dt. 12 Chennai Blast at a firecracker factory in Tamil Nadu’s Virudhunagar district, its about 500 kilometres from Chennai. The explosion took place at around 1.30 pm, february 12. An officer from the local fire department told that: “Friction during mixing of chemicals appears to have caused the explosion”.
