2 arrested with 11 Kg gold, foreign currency at Chennai airport

(G.N.S) Dt. 15 Chennai Customs officers at Tamilnadu’s Chennai airport has seized 11.90 kilogram gold and Rupees 45.4 lakh in foreign currency. Two passengers were arrested with six gold bars and foreign currency in Tamil Nadu’s Chennai Airport in two separate incidents. Further investigations were carried out.
