Validity of parliamentary committee reports cannot be challenged: SC

(G.N.S) Dt. 08 New Delhi A Constitution bench of the Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that parliamentary committee reports can’t be challenged or their validity questioned in courts. A five-judge constitution bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra also said that courts can refer to parliamentary reports for statutory interpretation
