Indian benchmark indices ended the start of the week on a strong note, with the Nifty future closing above 22,750. At close, the Sensex was up 494.28 points or 0.67 percent at 74,742.50, and the Nifty future was up 156.50 points or 0.69 percent at 22,752.00.
