SRK who already has a wax statue at Madame Tussauds in London, will now have one at its newly inaugurated branch in New Delhi, which also happens to be superstar’s hometown.
Managed by Merlin Entertainments, the prestigious wax museum in the national capital features the figures of celebrities like Kapil Dev, Milkha Singh, Asha Bhosle, Shreya Ghoshal and Madhubala.
Merlin Entertainments head-honcho pleased with the development
“Given his massive fan following across the globe, and because he is a popular celebrity and loved by everyone; it was a prestigious choice for us to bring Shah Rukh Khan’s figure to Madame Tussauds Delhi,” Anshul Jain, head Merlin Entertainments, said.
King Khan is currently filming his ambitious next titled ‘Zero’. The film has SRK playing a vertically challenged man for the first time in his career.
It brings him together with his ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ co-stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
Directed by Aanand L Rai, ‘Zero’ is slated to release on December 21.
