With a large number of devotees, long queues at the Somnath Temple ithis running ‘Shravan Month’, to avoid rush and follow the guidelins given by the government online pass system is compulsary for devotees.
Somanth Temple Trustee secretary, PK Lahiri has said that a meeting of trustees was held with district collector and police and decided to increase the temple timing. The temple will remain open from 5:30am to 9:15pm beginning July 25. At present, the timings are from 6am to 6:30pm.”
Lahiri said that issuing passes will began to the devotees from Saturday to avoid rush. The devotees coming from other districts should get passes through our online system, he said.
No Devotee will allowed in any of the 3 aarti’s.
The Somnath Temple Trust on Tuesday decided to issue entry passes to devotees outside the premises, beginning July 25.
Temple Timings:-
5.30 am to 6.30 am
7.30 am to 11.30 am
12.30 pm to 6.30 pm
7.30 pm to 9.15 pm
