16 Turkish women sentenced to death by Iraq court for joining Isis, about 1300 arrested

(G.N.S) DT.26 An Iraqi court has sentenced 16 Turkish women to death by hanging for joining Islamic State, a judiciary spokesman said on Sunday. Iraq is conducting the trials of hundreds of foreign women who have been detained, with hundreds of their children, by Iraqi forces since August, as Isis strongholds crumbled.
