As per the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy to very rainfall is predicted in Kutch and Saurashtra region in the next three days.
Heavy rains lashed Gujarat for the third consecutive day, creating a flood-like situation in parts of the state on Tuesday. Over 1,000 people were evacuated to safer places.
Extensive water-logging has been reported in Dwarka. Jamnagar and Porbandar have also been badly affected. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) rescued nine people from a village in Jamnagar and three from Porbandar.

Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the Arabian Sea as winds are expected to reach up to a speed of 50-60 kmph over the south west and west central Arabian Sea.
