Heavy rain lashes out parts of Telangana; schools, offies closes

The depression over Telangana moved further west­northwestwards during past 6 hours and lay centered over western parts of Telangana about 130 km east­northeast of Gulbarga (Karnataka) & about 50 km west of Hyderabad at 5.30am today: India Meteorological Department

Hyderabad witnessed the highest rainfall ever on Tuesday according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). Torrential rains brought normal life to a halt as many parts of the city were flooded.

MBNR X Road and Falaknuma Railway bridge totally blocked due to heavy rain water. The commuters advised to avoid this road and take alternate routes.
Malakpet to LB Nagar Route completely blocked due to nala overflow at Malakpet RUB. The commuters advised to take diversion near Chermas Malakpet, Akberbagh, towards fire station, Chenchalguda.
