As a precautionary measure, the Gujarat government has decided to shut all schools, colleges and educational institutions, swimming pools and multiplexes for two weeks starting from March 16 in the wake of the growing threat from COVID-19.
The government has also imposed a fine of 500 for spitting in public.

As per the orders given by Gujarat state government of shutting down all public swimming pools across the state as a preventive measure for curbing COVID-19 spread, most clubs have shut down their swimming pools, movie theatres and in some cases even gyms.
As a part of awareness and stop the spread of Coronavirus all this steps are taken.
