‘Don’t eat onion, if you cannot afford it’: Mah minister to poor

(G.N.S) Dt. 08 Mumbai One more time a controversial and shameful statement by minister, Maharashtra cooperative affairs minister Subhash Sureshchandra Deshmukh mocked the poor people at a public event. Deshmukh said, ‘If you cannot afford onion, you should not eat it. Jains don’t eat onion and they don’t complain.’
