BSE Sensex closed at 37,494.40, up for 157.55 points

(G.N.S) Dt. 30 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 37,494.40, up 157.55 points while the the broader 50-share NSE Nifty went up 41.20 points to finish trading at 11,319.55. Even though Sensex could not finish above the psychological mark of 37,500, in intra-day trading the index did hit the all-time high
