Brazil detected new COVID-19 variant in Sao Paulo state similar to one seen in South Africa

(G.N.S) Dt. 1 Brasilia The head of Sao Paulo state’s Butantan biomedical institute has said that a new COVID-19 variant detected that is similar to the one first seen in South Africa. Butantan President Dimas Covas said the patient with the variant had no history of travel to South Africa.
