Old Custodial death case: Ex-IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt sentenced to life imprisonment

(G.N.S) Dt. 20 Jamnagar A local court in Jamnagar, Gujarat, has convicted dismissed former IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt and awarded him life imprisonment under IPC 302 in a 1989 custodial death case. Besides Bhatt, Police constable Pravinsinh Jhala has also been convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment in the case.
