(G.N.S) Dt. 22 Assamese movie ‘Village Rockstars’ by filmmaker Rima Das has been selected as India’s official entry in the Foreign Language Film category for Oscars 2019. Reportedly, the film was contending with Alia Bhatt’s mega-hit ‘Raazi’, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’, Ranvir Shorey starrer ‘Halka’, and Sohum Shah’s upcoming film
