Gujarat’s total Covid patients count is now at 6,245 whereas death toll is 368.

Gujarat Police chief Shivanand Jha has said that more paramilitary force companies have also been given in the containment zones of Surat and Vadodara in the state. Apart from the red zone, security will also be tight in the Orange and Green zones. People keep in mind that all these zones are restricted.
In order to increase security, RAF company will be deployed, SRP-paramilitary company will be deployed in parts of state, more than 36 companies of paramilitary to be deployed says Gujarat DGP.

As Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) commissioner Vijay Nehra quarantines self after contact with Covid-19 patients.

Hotels and Restaurants Association (HRA) of Gujarat has sought a six-month tax holiday from the state government, over losses incurred by the tourism and hospitality sector due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In a representation made to the state government recently, HRA Gujarat said the hospitality sector is reeling from a severe working capital crunch.
