Indian rupee depreciated by 6 paise to 71.17 against US dollar in early trade

(G.N.S) Dt. 21 Mumbai The rupee fell by 6 paise to 71.17 against US dollar in early trade on Tuesday, with the domestic stock market falling. Currency dealers said weakness in the dollar and softening of crude oil prices against other major foreign currencies attempted to halt the rupee depreciation.
