K’taka govt planning to remove lesson of Tipu Sultan from textboks: CM Yediyurappa

(G.N.S) Dt. 31 Bengaluru Karnataka chief minister B. S. Yediyurappa has given hints that Karnataka state government’s plans to remove the lesson on Tipu Sultan from middle school history textbooks and said he does not believe that the controversial 18th century ruler of erstwhile Mysore kingdom was a freedom fighter.
