(G.N.S) Dt. 28 Mumbai 1987 batch IPS officer Mr. Sanjay Barve appointed as new police commissioner of Mumbai while current commissioner Subodh Kumar Jaiswal will be the new Maharashtra director general of police. Barve, who originally belongs to Konkan in Maharashtra, will be taking charge in the afternoon on Thursday.
